	WMI (formerly ~ Williams Mechanical, Inc.) was incorporated in 1979 to perpetuate the plumbing discipline of the family owned business established in 1952 in Twenty-nine Palms, California, that has gained an excellent reputation for professionalism and quality.


	In 2002 the family sold sixty percent of the ownership to the employees establishing the Employee Stock Option Trust. In 2005 the Trust purchased the remaining forty percent of the family held stock, making WMI 100 percent employee owned.

The concept of an Employee-Owner Corporation has inspired these employee-owners to continue their aggressive and planned growth offering mechanical and electrical installations to its already well established plumbing discipline. Packaging these three major project disciplines with Design Build and CADD capabilities make WMI second to none in Southern California in providing its clients with the “Single Source Solution”.
